How to get to Puerto Galera

 

Trip by land from Manila to Batangas Pieris about 2 to 3 hours. Taking the SKWAY from Manila to Batangas is by far the quickest way or take the SLEX and  CALABARZON highway to Batangas pier. The ferry boat ride takes 1 hour up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. 

 

The ferries to Puerto Galera are in Terminal III-Batangas Port.

 

The Ferry ticket to Puerto Galera is around 250 pesos. Passengers are required to pay the Terminal Fee worth Php 30 per person and the Environmental User Fee for tourists going to Puerto Galera worth Php 50 per person. Or take the Supercat (links below) or RORO to Calapan and take a jeep/van to Puerto Galera.

Batangas Pier, Bus, Sikat
BY BUS

  • Take the SI-KAT combined bus & ferry service. Bus loading is at Ermita, Manila or a Ceres Premier bus at Sm MOA.

  • Ride a bus to Batangas Pier. Bus leaves every 30 minutes. Fare is about Php 200 one way.

  • The first ferry trip to Puerto Galera starts at 7:30 am to 4:30 pm .

  • From Muelle, you can ride a jeep, boat, or tricycle to your destination resort.

  • There are tricycles if you get lost or disembark at the wrong port.

BRINGING YOUR OWN VEHICLE

BOOKING A PRIVATE OUTRIGGER AND PARKING IN LEAH OR BERBERABE BEACH:

  • Book a private outrigger and set your own time to leave. 

  • Parking at Berberabe Beach is from Php 50 per night in an open but locked area.

  • Open parking at Leah or Berberabe Beach is Php50 per day.

PARKING AT BATANGAS PIER:

  • The total toll fee depends if you are taking the Skyway / SLEX.

       STAR Tollway is around Php 70.

  • You can also park it on the Batangas Pier for a daily fee. 

  • The parking fee is from Php155 for 24 hours and from Php 6 per hour after 24 hours.

BRINGING CAR ACROSS BY RORO:

  • If your bringing along your vehile, you can take the RORO or Roll on Roll off  ferry to Puerto Galera by alternative route to Calapan City. It takes about an hour land travel to get to Puerto Galera from there.

HIRING A VAN & FERRY- 
PRIVATE CHARTER

  • An air-conditioned van will be waiting at your choosen pick up point.

  • The van will go straight to a private beach in Batangas--Berberabe Beach or Leah Beach where an outrigger ferry is taking you to Puerto Galera.

  • You set the time you want to leave for Puerto Galera.

Helicopter/ Seaplane Charter
VIA SEAPLANE / HELICOPTER CHARTER

  • Subic Seaplane's primary pickup point in Manila is west of the Manila Yacht Club at the CCP (Cultural Center Of the Philippines) in the area where the Harbor Tour Boats Dock.

  • The seaplane charter appoxrimately Php25,000 (around USD680)per trip maximum 3 people.

  • Helicopter charter costs starts from Php 45,000 (USD1,000) for 3 maximum six people.

  • If you have money to spare try taking the seaplane from Manila Port to Puerto Galera approximately an hour.
