Kaaldawan Iraya 
An Iraya-Mangyan term which means birthday. Iraya, on the other hand, refers to a particular Mangyan tribe inhabiting the northern part of the island of Mindoro, wherein Puerto Galera is located. The Kaaldawan-Iraya Festival is a cultural presentation which features Iraya dances, songs, folktales, indigenous games, ethnography and other traditions.

All Souls Regatta

The All Souls Regatta is the first of the racing season each year with everyone competing for the All Souls Regatta trophy. Racing along the Verde Passage courses. Contact the Yacht club for details: www.pgyc.org
